Daily Hobby Update

Today I base coated the multi base. It seems that 3 layer of diluted PVA glue is the requirement to get a smooth top surface.


 I also continued to paint my hackpaw regiment. Even If not totally finished, I'm now confident they will get playable for the next tournament.

As theirs giant rat mounts don't feel like "enough evil", I'm considering to print them some sharp armor piece. However, I have to be careful as the unit only have a 3+ defense which mean very light armor. I plan to try to print helmets such as the one held by the league of legend champion, marauder Alistar.

Today I added a second layer of diluted white glue on the base to seal the rocks on the base. While the glue was drying I initiated the 3D printing of the infantry regiment base and I also started to debase the miniatures I get in the massive darkness ratling enemies box. I'll mix them with some game workshop storm troops and clan warriors to build 2 Horde of shock-troops. Painting will have to homogenize the 3 model types into 1 coherent horde.

I had a very busy summer and so had a hard time getting time to paint miniatures. However, I managed to end 2 projects this week. The first one is a KoW ratkin brutte. He will be part of the monstrous infantry regiment that is made of him and the other I painted in February ( already 7 month have past ? OMG! ). The other one is my Dark Eldar motojet squad :

As the monsters plays a great role in the conan campaing, it would be great to paint all of them. However they are big miniatures with wide surfaces to paint. Except both the giant scorpion and the giant spider I painted yesterday.
